So Priet's out, and so too is vd Woldenberg!! Transmission failure for the DRTW driver.

Lap 3:
LAITI TAKES THE LEAD!! Timo Laiti, the younger brother of former GPWC winner Tero Laiti takes the lead at Rio!!!

Makki-Ohlson and Okazaki have caught them up and are ready to pounce if there is any mistakes.

Behind them, Alingas and Rugen are scrapping over 6th place.

And there goes MacGibbons off the circuit!!

He spun off just before the back straight, but unlike Priet he continues with no damage, but he is now last.

IT'S MARK RUGEN!! That's where Priet went off!!

WOAOAOAWWW!! PAFVELSSON HITS RUGEN'S STRANDED CAR!!! Chaos here at Rio!!!

He just lost it on a wet patch and had no way of stopping.

And he's then hit by Pafvelsson, narrowly missed by Bourougsse.

MACGIBBONS SPINS OFF AGAIN!!!

The American really seems to be struggling in the wet conditions. He continues having lost even more time.

OH, OFF GOES TOCCACELLO!!!!

He's spun off, but wait!!! Who's that just behind him?????

Neither driver stood a chance, and now both of them are out.

Bourougsse has got major issues. ELectrical problems force him to pit.

Lap 12:
Mannsperger loses two places, to Okazaki and Lavaggi. Nonda is closing in.

Lap 13:
Weidlinger SPINS! He's lost it in the wet!! OH NO, HUCKETT'S HIT HIM!! DRAMA!!

Lahikkanen is out with transmission failure.

Lap 26: Leuenberger spins out, he's stranded and a disappointing race comes to a premature end. He was running fifth due to the pitstops, but that just adds insult to injury.

Kafatos is out with a transmission failure. It's a shame as he had been moving up through the field. His talent is very clear these days.

The pitstops show that three drivers are in the fight for victory today:

Pafvelsson is finally out with a broken gearbox.

HERE WE GO AGAIN!! That's Moreno!! He's done it again!! WOAAAAAAAWWW!! That's Alexis Kamannen behind him! He's spun in the same place!!

He misses Moreno, and resumes 6th. Moreno however is finally out for good. The Brazilian must be so embarrassed to do so badly on home soil.

Minarae:
Another great race by Mannsperger, at the moment he is very competitive. It was great for the sport that he decided to make a comeback. The conditions where very bad and he proofs to be a real great driver in the rain. Rugen on the other side has still his problems with the car, but he will come back to the top of the podium soon.

Orchis:
This race was very hard for us, due our car didn`t have any grip and we struggled for the pace. Both drivers out in the end and no points are not good but we once more took our place in the midfield and this was our goal at the season start.

FK Racing

First of all both FK teams wonder why they are not listed in the money list.

The race was once more a total disaster. Our top driver Rickard Alingas was once again involved in an accident without own fault. Patrick Pafvelsson was also involved in an incident without his own mistake, but later destroyed a good result by crashing out. The junior team was lacking speed and also reliability. Somehow it seems we are the unluckiest team right now. We don't have any idea what we can improve. But if it continues like this, consequences have to be taken.

Let's hope things get better next race.
