I saw a questions about this when I did a search. The answer didn't really help. I'm sure I can't be the only one here with windows XP trying to get this game to work with a wheel. So does anyone here play this game with a wheel? If so, how did you get it to work?
I posted my question at Classic-gaming.net but I am asking it here too because you guys seem like you would know all about GP2.
Here is my original question I just posted at CGN.
Just GP2 is not enough for me, I want the great GP2lap as well. Luckily, it is no problem at all
to use it once you have managed to get GP2 working. As an added bonus, it will be possible to use a USB or serial steering wheels as well in GP2, while it normally only supports wheels thatn connect to the gameport.
I think you might need something called "GP2lap" to enable the USB wheel. I think "GP2Joy" doesn't work right because it wasn't made for windows. I will have to install the game all over again and try again, but this time try GP2lap to see if that will let me use the wheel and pedals properly.
