Hi to all,

i am a new user of this board, in first the my congratulations for your works, really fantastic for a old simulator how Gp2

The my problem is this, While installing other tracks, I have the following problem: high walls in the circuit, missing boxes and gray sand on the sides of the track, I honestly do not know and understand the problem, in the track file there is also the convert.exe but using Windows 11 this program does not recognize me to convert files from jad to jam, thanks in advance to those who want to help me

Hi and welcome!

My converter works on windows https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/cacc ... amConv.zip

Older converters must be run through dosbox.

please post a picture of what you are trying to describe....

my guess is that you don't have the JAMS in the proper place for the tracks that you are trying to use.

Many thanks for your answer and help, in the image here the track is E1-Ring Cyberspace this is very horrible is true, here i don't have convert the jad in jam but with other tracks that sometimes have the jams already converted the result is sometimes the same, below the configuration I use I don't know if it's the right one thanks in advance for the answer

As samsepi0l said, the jams need to be in the correct place, this means folder gamejams/e1jam for this track.

Many thanks for your gentle answer as always, and many thanks to all really very gentle initially I had tried to convert- the jad files to jam in this way as in the screenshot shown, the track equally did not want to go but thanks to rremedio once the name was changed as indicated, the problem on the E1-Ring track has been solved, perhaps I don't know if in the figure shown, with the Jam editor program, you can solve the problems of other tracks with the same problem, perhaps knowing first the folder containing the jams, which exact name must to have

Thanks again everyone

Hi Pietro,

welcome to the board, it is always nice to see new people joining the still alive GP2-Community :D

Many circuits state in the readme (or GP2form.txt) what folders you need to create for the jams. If you are unsure you can always have a look at the circuit.DAT via trackeditor by Paul Hoad (-> http://grandprix2.de/Util/util.htm). In some cases authors are replacing original jams or using identical names, in that case just change the path to a feasable name without problems and place the jams there.

Have fun and happy racing :)
