- That the 1999 Le Mans 24 hours should become a legendary race was
obvious, as manufacturer involvement increased further in this year.
Toyota, Mercedes, Audi, BMW, Nissan and Panoz send their machines,
which seemed to be the regular succesors of the old Group-C-cars, to
the racetrack at the Sarthe river.
Although
it were the Toyotas which made the pace and the BMW which were
excellent over the distance and finally won the race, one car remained
escpecially in the memories of sportscar fans: The Mercedes CLR, which
produced some spectacular scenes beeing airborned three times before
finally withdrawn from the race!

First menu-arts (menu-helmets) are ready, the design is much more
modern than the one of the 1991 menu-arts and remembers on the style of
this website. Further I made some progress on the Riley & Scott and
found someone who will give me some support.15.02.2007 -
I started work on a carset of the 1999 Le Mans 24 hours. I hope it'll
be finished in around 2 month, but I can't promise anything. Here's a
