DJS Carset 2007
For everyone who didn't know the livery yet (like me):

Well Dan, I have been thinking about the Renault, but I don't have enough reference pics at the moment.
I have all the high-res pics from the Renault media site, but it doesn't show the rear really, only the front part.
Back to the Red Bull, here it is, maybe a bit rougher than the real one, but I think it's ok. Just need to detail the whole thing....
Let me know what you guys think.

Well done, too (like Henning). Still some shadows etc. missing, but as you said you are going to add them. Then the car will look some percent better again!

NTP: Perhaps I will give it a try. You're right, it looks damn cool! Do you know a place with many pictures exept f1-club.be?Greyhead wrote:You're a brave man DJS...
The real thing just looks grey from a distance. Horrible.
Anyone going to paint the 30th anniversary Renault? They aren't using it in the race, which is a shame cos it's much prettier than the ING-liveried car...

Have a look at Motorsport.com's photos section, there may be some decent pictures on there, or perhaps latphoto.co.uk.

F1 this year definitely seems to present some challenges for the carpainters out there... this one looked a bit chaotic from the distance you naturally saw it on the TV monitors, but it was a nice change, and if anyone didn't like it, we'll have seen it only this once (right?).
It's nice to see also how fast you and Henning pulled this off... and it does look nice already.

1996 .. 2017 .. 21 years and counting ..
I thought about what it could be and as I just mentioned in another thread, I think it might be a LMS or a Le Mans 2007 carset. Maybe the one who helps you is Tim. He would do the sponsors then. Or maybe Erick von Draxeler!?!
