I created the palette by myself. Just copy the one from the gif-file I posted here into your bmp, this should work.

Here is an example how I imagine a trackmap for GP2. Maybe a bit more information could be added or the letters could be made bigger, so that you can read them also in the smaller version (would be a good idea, just came into my mind when writting this. What do you think about it?

Yes, it's not an (automatically) fast way of working. I only needed about 3 minutes for the bitmap. I have no XBox, but I recently (on Tuesday) bought the Playstation 3 along with GT5. So if anyone else has it, we could have a race against each other once.

You can use "VelocidadeXP" (link) or a similar program to slow down your PC. I use a program simply called "slowdown" (can be found here, for example).

You've done a superb job there! The hex-edited carshape works out really good, no distorted textures. I think to update it with the hex-editor is the only way to get a good looking 1984 carshape. Is this also an updated helmet?
