Maybe ask AAS. I kow that on his Brno and Oscherleben tracks the configuration is somehow different. There the sides of the car reflect more and also the back of the car is reflecting.
I'll take a look. But I'm sure this config I'm talking about is not track related (I don't know, but those diferences in AAS tracks you've noticed are problaby caused by "sun position" configuration). What happens is gp2 thing that part of the bitmp is still on the "top of the sidebox", so it light and shadow that part like it still was.

Is the same problem with desappearing parts of the car and track objects.

Yes, I think that's the reason.

  =D> :-"

The game is called 'Grand Prix 2' (when they are that small you don't recognize it at the first view). The carshape is DJS' 2007 shape. These are the screenshots I sent to AAS (in larger resolution of course) for the fans-carset gallery at Grandprix2.de.
Really great stuff, like I said in a different thread. =D>
(And a great carshape to choose. O:) )

There's been a long time since my last update on this project. Well, that's becouse it's been stopped all this time.

I've planned to finish it this week, cause I'm at home the full week. But I was asked help in the making of the 1978 cars for fgp2. Another guys is making the shapes for all cars (it's a hotlap league, so we can use a different shape for each car) and I'm making the liveries and changes in the shapes when needed. The work is going fast and we'll have all the cars done until next week.

I'm telling you this becouse it means I'll have an excellent base for a 1978 pack too. So, problaby around July, I'll release both '77 and '78 packs. :D

I hope I manage to finish my work with the magic data at the same time. It would improve the packs a lot.

Regards!

Recently I wondered what happened with this project (and Greyheads WTCC carset) and now I got a promising answer.

I always thought, that the 70's sets for GP2 didn't reach the maximum quality, so I'm glad you are upgrading them!!

I wish I could find the pitlane in/out values...but I've had no luck until now.

Some news...

The 77 carset didn't evolve yet, mainly becouse I haven't time to make the shape 2 (I'm making these shapes from stretch). On the other hand, the 78 carset, which uses shapes based on the FGP2 shapes is finished. At least the shapes and liveries. Now I'll tune the data and the tracks.

I'll try to post some pictures on the next days.

Thank you, DJS. I've found some help to work on the physics, and there are few tracks which still need some work, so I think it won't take long untill I release it.
