Nice cars need nice tracks !

Is this the correct track?
Which you would like to see in Gp2?

Code: Select all

March 2007 <version 1.0>
=======================================================================

Title : Le Mans, circuit 24 heures - France (HW version for GP3 1.13 only)

Description	: Real-life French track, 13.605 meters long,
used for MotoGP, GT-cars, Touring-cars, Formula-cars and Bikes

The versions I made are at 55% of original lenght (shortened to 7.530 meters
due to limitations of GP3 game in maximum track lenght).

The track is supplied in 2 versions: 2005 layout with and without
the 2 chicanes on Hunaudieres straight.

Intending to privilege the maximum track lenght, I decided to reduce at most
the pitlane; so it is different in entry and exit shape regard of the actual one.
I hope the results could be good as well.

Filenames	: LeMans-24h.dat, LeMans-24h-nochic, many jams, magicdata file, circuit map.

The Le Mans carset is still the next carset I will release, but right now I can't motivate myself to rejoin work on it.

But now I have some spare time again which I will also use for GP2. Le Mans and FIA-GT carsets for 1997, 98, 99 are still on my schedule and so I tried to create the Porsche 911 GT1 '98 today. The carshape is based on the LMS-carshape, what is a perfect solution.

Before I definitively start with one of those, I will finish the 1992 sportscar carset (for those who wonder what happened with this project). ;-)

Thank you for the kind comments! I've continued with the work on the LM carset. I will release 2 single cars soon (Saulnier Pescarolo, Embassy), but then it will be still a lot of work (especially because the Embassy, the Speedy Sebah Lola and the Creation all had special (or new) liveries for LM.

Of course! All my sportscar (and GT) carshapes will have mirrors from now on!

Oh yeah, I'd completely forgotten about Cadillac even entering Le Mans! I'd agree with AD now, it's the first (and best looking) incarnation of the Northstar.

My compliments, you are right AD! I'll send the car to Andreas soon, although as a single car it won't be very usefull.
