I have problem to get Slot and Tyre Editor work. I've installed both Net framework (there is versions 1,1 2 3 3,5 4) and C++ (2005,2008,2010). Message says: The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000007b). The editor has worked on previous xp installation, not in this one for some reason, maybe I missed something now, how to get it working?

I have .Net Framework 4 (Client Profile and Extended, I think they came with Win7) and Visual C++ redistributable 2005, 2008 and 2010 installed. As far as I remember, only 2008 was required. What's your Windows version?

XP SP3
Maybe I should uninstall some of the net.frameworks? Anyway I can start with the track file before making change for the consumption.

But you won't be able to export the previous magic data. If you can, uninstall all frameworks and VC++ and install them again, starting with .Net 3.5 and VC++ (year edited) 2008, and testing before adding the others. But it's very strange. It's a 64bits system?

I'll try to install those again (later...). It's 32 bit version.

Strange thing to like, since usually I'm no fan of slow corners, but this is first choice for me

I will check them all later and start to work on them. Don't worry about cc speed becouse I think they are overpowered on most of the tracks. You don't know how much helpful your work will be (not only for this pack, but I'll use it as a base for all the other packs I will try to make for the 80ies). :D

Hello!!

I like this new type of driving...even though i'm 2 seconds off pace of cc in ace mode.

However I couldn't open the gp2 physics editor! "Component 'COMDLG32.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered..."

Maybe because of win 7?? :(

It may be. I use Win7 and never got this problem, but searching about it on google I have found a lot of reports. This tutorial seems to solve it. Can you test it?

As I said before, the files on this thread are just for fixing fuel consumption only and are not "race-ready" yet. That's why ccs are quite overpowered.

It's still not working, have uninstalled and installed netframeworks from 1.1 to 4.0 and visual c++ -05 -08 & -10. Even cleaned the registry. Very annoying - only thing yet to do is to make fresh install of windows. I don't know why it worked before (it's been long time since I used the editor last time), there's shouldn't be anything too different now. There is repair tool for 0xc000007b, but I have doubts of that, probably some shady program. I hope I still can do the Monaco tests and more (and driving any seasons for GP2 without the editor anymore, well it can't be like that:) but it could take some time to get things to work ](*,)

That's really odd. Did some google too, found a lot of speculation about viruses, firewalls and problems with applications source codes, but nothing really useful. You won't have those kinds of problems when the Season Packages are released becouse I don't work with Visual C++ anymore and the Slot Editor won't be needed becouse the package installer will change all magic data automatically.

I'll try to create an alternative tool so you can make the tests, but I don't know how much time it will take. Sorry about that.
