O.K.: here we go:

23 - 26 Suspension rear side of car

27 & 28 Suspension front side of car. The ones who go from down at the wheel, diagonal to top of the cars nose.

29 - 38 Suspension front side of car. The horizontal ones on left and right side. The 2 lowest of the 4 are the ones
most commonly used for advertising. (Where Michelin or Bridgestone logo's where shown in early 2000's)

39 - 50 Suspension rear side of car. Not all visible at every time. Some are only viewable from the front, others only
from the back.

Not Numberd: Bars on the left - middle: Suspension parts front side of car. Bars between the 8 and 9, suspension parts front of the car.

Like i said for the rear suspension bars, this also counts for the front suspension. They are not always visible from any angle. If you exactly want to find out which one is who, give them one by one a different color, export bitmap, and find out in the game. I only know the important ones, useable for Gp2 editing.

I'm using the rear suspension as the rear wing support on my GT shape, I'm glad someone else noticed that they aren't always visible!

Great, thank you Tim =D>

This is definitaly a superb reference for liverydesigners, should be added in the grandprix2.de Knowledge Base

There are more of those things, like the helmet of the driver that dissapears when the car is viewed from behind.

I don't have the 13-14 "zones" in the basic car bitmap (the one taken from gp2edit, of course) that I have. What exactly are them? Thanks:shock:

They're the spaces for the car number on the nose, on the GP2Edit bitmap they're smaller and in the bottom-left and bottom-right corners (the small squares with A and B on them), but you can move these positions.

Uh..Thank you. I always supposed that you could only move the number positions in the carshape, and that you cannot in the car bitmaps... :-k

You can move them in GP2Edit, click on the little button with a black 1 on a red background and it'll bring up the window that lets you do it.
