Some changes need to be made to this carset. Not all engines were assigned correctly to the teams; simply update the designated engine slot.
For 2026: Aston Martin Honda, Alpine Mercedes, Red Bull Ford, and Racing Bulls Ford. ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

Thank you very much.Good carset.I hope this 2026 map helps you.Unfortunately, I've always been bad at designing cars, even in GP3.

Re: F1 CARSET 2026

Thanks for the help with the helmets. I usually work with the helmets I like best from among those actually used, but this project is updated for the 2026 season. I’m sharing this carset option, which includes Joqan's updates—thanks for sharing. Any help is welcome.
I also changed the tires from yellow to white. If anyone has the red ones—or others, like blue—and could send them over, I’d appreciate it.
Unfortunately, last year I was diagnosed with a vision-impairing condition (retinopathy), and the resulting medical procedures are making it hard to keep up with this hobby. Creating the carset was very difficult this year, and I couldn't finish it before the F1 summer break as I had intended. Updating it with new or commemorative liveries—like I did last year—will be a bit of a challenge, but I’m planning to create a few standalone ones, perhaps a combo pack mixed in with the main carset.

A small wish: Different liveries for Teams 12–14?

Post by ecodrive »

Very good work! You guys who paint all the car bitmaps for GP2Edit are real magicians, in my opinion! =D>

Just one wish: Instead of a second version of Aston Martin, Cadillac and Haas, I would love to have completely different liveries for Team 12, Team 13 and Team 14 in the 2026 carset.

It's so wonderful to finally have Cadillac as Team 11. Team 12 is a personal team for me and my teammate. Team 13 is always disabled in my carset. But Team 14 is always a problem. Its two cars are invisible in the driver selection screen (because they are set to "Disabled" in GP2Edit), but they still take part in every race.

Of course, I set their reliability to the worst possible value. This usually gets rid of them within the first 10 laps. I also set their grip level to that of the slowest "real" F1 driver and their engine power to 10% below that of the weakest "real" engine. But they can still make it to the chequered flag in some events.

But the most important point is being able to see the difference compared with the "real" teams when driving behind them. This could easily be solved by using a neutral bitmap in GP2Edit. I tried using a livery from a previous carset, but it doesn't fit properly, for example because of the "Car number positions".

I suggest this solution:
Team 12 – Yuki Tsunoda’s Racing Bulls #22 (the 23rd driver to start a GP this season), with the second car disabled.
Team 13 – Based on the *F1* movie: the fictional APX GP team with #7 Sonny Hayes and #9 Joshua Pearce.
Team 14 – Enter your own team to race and disable one of the cars. In the carset below, I included a fictional team I created with Europharma sponsorship (similar to a Brazilian Stock Car team).
I hope this helps.

Carset to update the 2026 F1 season.
The carset includes 23 drivers who started Grands Prix that year and another 3 who took part in FP1 sessions. It features two versions: the starting lineup from the beginning of the year and the lineup for the Dutch GP.
