Speedway setup

Post by TeunieGp2 »

Hello

Did anyone have a good car setup for the super speedsways ? (indy 500, Texas motor speedway, kentucky speedway, Fontana speedway)

I play the 96 CART and 2003 IRL carset with some speedway tracks in it. But the cc cars are must faster than me.

Thanks

I can share one for the Indy500 Track by Hernan Viglione and Antonio Pessoa.

Setup ist for 780/790 bhp, you might want to adapt the gear ratios for other bhp-settings, so I mention why I did what I did with the ratios:

With the standard bhp-settings and this track using slot 3 I get speeds of around 206/207 MPH on the straigths without slipstream, not full revs and being able to take corners flat out. I spared some revs to be able to overtake, with slipstream you can do 213/214 MPH, which is a major advantage over the Computer controlled cars.

Thanks MaxX

I have now more top speed and with the slipstream i can overtake de cc cars. Only some RPM down if i drive out of the slipstream.

I try more tweaking to get more speed on this speedways and have close racing.
