There are still many races ahead and... I don´t want to give tips but... Todorov is the driver with more grip. That´s why he wins.nimrod111 wrote:A changing of rules by Max Mosley!tecnorge3 wrote:My question is: Who can beat the young Bulgarian Georgi Todorov?
Re: GP2 Racing World - Spanish GP - Race Results!
Just found that one, pretty late. lol
Seems like there is still interest for managers. If someone wants to have my slot (Minarae), please take it. Meanwhile just put all available points into grip, these results are embarassing for a team winning races since 1996

Portuguese GP Qualifying
Todorov keeps the good pace and makes pole at Estoril
Georgi Todorov, the man to beat. He has one more reason to be happy with another pole for him and another race he can win. Estoril is a short track and overtaking here is very difficult, so he can say he has half of the race won. But...
There are others who will fight. "The Woldenbergs" catched second and third places and Andreas Schulz fourth. AD-Heave could place a car in fifth with Jens Dings, while Thomas Kost is in sixth.
On another topic, there were news on the Minarae - Misfire side. Strangely team boss left the team and now Minarae is under GP2RW Co. control. For this race the team presents some changes in the cars, but it seems was not enough. Joe Rotter will start from 13th and Markus from 25th. Not very good for Minarae.
Portuguese GP: 71 laps, 2 pitstops and the final results posted on Sunday. And this is the grid:
Good luck to all!

Re: GP2 Racing World - Portuguese GP - Qualifying posted
Georgi Todorov and another win, this time in Portugal
The story is simple. Jurg Woldenberg is maybe the only driver who can beat Todorov, but today was a vey unlucky day for the dutchman. He was out in lap 3 for a great mistake of team DRTW. From that point, Todorov did what he wanted to do, literally. Rick Woldenberg was second and Thomas Kost completed a good podium for AS-TK.
Start of the Portuguese GP. Todorov tries to win the initial sprint, but Jurg Woldenberg counted on that. He outbraked the bulgarian fr the inside. Rick wanted to do the same, but Todorov closed the door, leaving the second DRTW driver under the attack of Andreas Schulz.
Opening the secon lap, Woldenberg was ahead, with Todorov, Rick Woldenberg and Schulz in his tail. The dutch car was confortable at the front.
But then, the surprise of the race. Woldenberg was coming to a complete stop in the first sector with a loose wheel!
Todorow was first and started to gain time over R Woldenberg.
A few more laps and Todorov was ahead. The rest of the field was a compact group.
Tim de Klein, the second car out of the race
Schulz another car that had to go out.
Thomas Kost started to gain positions from the midfield. Here, overtaking Karttunen´s car.
Roberto Remedio had a very fast first pitstop, and was second. But R Woldenberg reversed the situation overtaking in the main straight.
Midpoint of the race and Todorov was very far from Woldenberg. Remedio, Kost and Dings maked the second group.
For the second pitstop Todorov decided to pit earlier, so here are the positions without him for the ten first.
On lap 38 Kost overtaked Remedio. In the midfield Weidlinger was fifth holding on Arabajiev, whle one of the Minarae was in very good position. A pitty Joe Rotter could not mantain the position.
Roberto Remedio had to go out with the engine blown.
Rickard Alingas and an incident with Joe Rotter at the back of the field
Weidlinger gaining one more position. The young K-Speed driver is delivering good finish positions.
Alex Diehl, Nuvolari and Barbosa´s Caccere completed the points
Todorov at the final line. Fith race won in a row. How many more times we will see this image in the year?
