Reminds me of a couple of the tracks in the old SNES game "Stunt Race FX".

Thanks for the comments :D There is four more tracks (including this western styled) which I'll send in making order, before checking that a track is releasable. Rest of the tracks have different styles, but nothing out of this world :) After I've checked and released these tracks I'd like to do something new.

I have played that Snes game too, but don't remember the tracks in it. In Need for Speed (III?) were also track(s) in desert, but I guess a bit of different surroundings.

Yeah there was at least one desert-type track in Stunt Race FX. Kind of looked a bit like the landscape from the Warner Bros. "Roadrunner / Wile E. Coyote" cartoons. I loved that game.

I think you mean Sunset Valley, but the layout is more complex in his version I suppose

I've been editing track occasionally (when there is time) and almost completed the changes. Without delays it should be finished in few days. Here is the last pictures of the track which is called simply Canyon Route :D

That's it, changes are done for release. There was some weird texture behaviour in some parts depending on camera view but nothing critical. Anyway, track is quite fast and shortest lap is to drive through pit lane :]

It seems that releasing rest of the "finished" fictious tracks will take longer than I thought:) Next one was complete years back, but is not what it should be, textures (some from original gp2) needs to be redone and layout needs improving. Guess I like track editing, but some times it makes me wonder...

I've edited most of the track, don't know though when it's ready, depends of the time available. But there's always time to drive :) I've been driving other tracks, that are new to me (like john edwards', Tim's or Andreas') and some old favorites.

Two shots from the track:
