Just before the final two rounds of the year I´m here to release a new carset based on the current IndyCar season. Once again thanks to Orloff (and this year to Evandro too) for making the GP3 carskins I´ve used for my work.
The two carsets I´m releasing and the performances are based on the road/street races only, while I´m still undecided on what I´ll do for the oval rounds. I may need to add more liveries, so I decided for now to release at least one part so you can enjoy it while the season is still running (and unlike in F1 with up to 7 drivers still in contention for the title!).

More instructions are present in the readme txt. So enjoy some photos and after them the files

nice job eky and personally speaking you release it in the perfect time for me. i was thinking a lot of time to try an indy carset , and your carset is the heavens response in this thinking of mine.

What about a 2022 F1 mod? But I just downloaded 2021 and BTCC 2020.

This year I won´t do any F1 carset for the simple reason that there is already an excellent version made by JIRKa24. You can download it here https://grandprix2.de/gp2forum/viewtopi ... =2&t=23524 (...or can you? it seems not to be working, if so let me know and I can send you). There is also a modern carshape which in any case I wouldn´t have been able to do.

For my side, once I´m finished with IndyCar I have another project with endurance racing but I´ll tell you all in due time

I wanted to show you some photos of my next project.


As you probably know this year a new era is starting in Endurance and SportsCar Racing with new cars and many manufacturers entering WEC and/or IMSA, and of course the 24h of Le Mans. With up to 12 manufacturers expected to race bewtween 2023-24, it is reasonable to expect more than 20 cars in the main class battling for overall win.
While we hope this new era will last more than the previous(!), I decided to give you a glimpse into what is to come in the near future.


I´ve put together the main cars from current (2022) WEC and IMSA and added some of the new prototypes (Porsche, BMW, Ferrari, Vanwall) to make a full grid of 26 cars. It is a fictional carset, as the DPis and the newest LMDh have never raced against the WEC Hypercars and we don´t know the real speed of some of the newer cars (Ferrari and Vanwall have not even raced yet).

My intention for this year - if I have the time needed - is to make a carset for each of the series (IMSA and WEC), otherwise I´ll just update this carset with the remaining cars and liveries. I´ll probably pause IndyCar for this year, while I hope someone else can make F1, like in more recent years.
