Another small update made for personal use posted here in case someone wants it.

CCline update for Sebring by Thomas Kost. tk's original ccline is good for the most part but it has a few weird corners at the end of the lap, just before the giant straight. I changed only that part of the ccline and it seems to work fine.

As a bonus, there is an extra file included which makes the surface a lot bumpier, trying to simulate the real thing (very poorly lol).

Enjoy!

Amazing work!
By the way, if you're looking for cc-lines to fix, you could check Estoril 1984-1993, estoril84-93v11_rp. The Tanque corner (the one that existed prior to 1994, and was replaced by the unfortunate chicane) has a cc-line that seems a little detached. (Although I wonder if Estoril84 by Peter Kessler is better...)

Yeah, I think there is no version of that layout with good ccline (they are not so bad, but could be improved a lot).

I'm doing updates when I want to use a particular track (not Estoril's case) and the ccs won't behave correctly, but I'll keep Estoril in mind for when I find some free time without other things to do.

Hi all!

Today I post a new track for my 1984 mod. It is Monza the most famous high speed track. Don't forget to use GP2limit for that. Enjoy!
Michael, nice work, like all the others!
I love that 1984 tracks you make. Monza, Zandvoort, Hockenheim, Detroit, Imola (1993 and 1994), Brands Hatch... the niciest I've seen for GP2! :D
Thank you for our fun on those days when seems so few guys plays GP2, but we're still alive!
Thank you very much Antonio! :) and "Parabens" for your super tracks too! I try to make a 1984 version of the Nürburgring even if I am slow lastly...

Thank you Roberto! Yours improvements are always big advancement for our communauty!

Two new files:

Unfinished Snetterton 300
I tried to make this track but making a full track scenery and objects is beyond what I can do for GP2 these days. Hopefully somebody can finish it eventually.

Mugello ccline update
Requires the jams from the original track by P. Cassanmagnago and Andreas Schulz.

Enjoy!

Another unfinished track: Paul Ricard GP. Just like Snetterton, I made it for my F3 seasons and I didn't go very deep into the graphics part. Still, it is a good base for someone to finish it and it is the same layout as they use in the F1 races. Enjoy!

And another one:

Silverstone 2010. Based on the fantasy 2003 track by John Edwards and AAS. 2010 layout with 2003 graphics.

Again, far from perfect, but a good deal for 4 hours of work =)

I'm building a folder in my computer with these tracks... no problem that the site isn't refreshed.

2010 layout left me quite interested to see! Although I don't think the 2003 track by John Edwards and AAS was a fantasy track - it was a premonition one, they had a vision of the future or something.

By the way, and aside the huge social media war that I'm witnessing these days between Cariocans and Paulistans - would you be able to build the Deodoro racing track??

=)

The "fantasy" layout was actually a proposed layout from the early 2000s and it was bound to be the next Silverstone layout when John Edwards built the GP2 track. But they abandoned the idea for a while and a modified version of it ended up being the one they actually built into the track.

And John did a great job with the layout, it was really accurate for a gp2 track built before google maps.

About Deodoro, I will build it if they start building the track in real life. For now, I don't believe it is going to happen and I don't think the layout is interesting enough and I rather spend time in simpler projects. But if they actually start building it I will do it because a new FIA grade 1 track in Rio would be very exciting.

The next track related projects I want to work on are ccline updates for Hockenheim (it really needs it) and maybe Barcelona (the current one is a bit annoying in a few corners but it is ok). I also have had an update for AAS's Cascavel since forever in my HD but it still needs a few more fixes before I release it.

I'd really like to finish Potrero de Los Funes but it is so much work, I don't think it will ever happen.

I would also like to make Vallelunga (the full circuit), Curvello and Ibarra but it would also be too much work lol.

There are also a bunch of tracks from USA, Sweden and Australia that deserve updates or re-creation, but that's not my focus for now. My own version of Spa also needs a few fixed, even if it is ok for now.

Hockenheim update

Layout for turn 1 is wrong but I didn't fix it. I tried to make it a bit more realistic by messing with the track width but it would be much better to fix the layout (and it will require another ccline update, and some graphical fixes).

To compensate for that I updated a few textures. I also put all the jams in the same folder since the previous version still used the original Hockenheim folder and some other versions of Hockenheim change those jams, making Hockenheim 2002 look wrong if you have those other versions installed.

Just out of curiosity, does anyboby plan to make Thruxton?

I think it's a fairly simple track (considering the layout) and also it doesn't seem to require a much elaborate scenery.

Btw, Vallelunga would be awesome, rremedio.

To be more precise I think your version is the 2011-current one. If I remember correctly 2010 was the first year they used the Arena layout, but the start/finish line and the pits were still in the traditional place before Copse.

Great job with the update of Paul Ricard and Snetterton! And can´t wait to see Michael´s version of the Nürburgring =D> =D> =D>

You are probably right. I just assumed this layout was from 2010.

eky78 kindly sent me another Hockenheim version (by Azat Moukhamedianow) and after comparing the two I notice not only t1 was wrong in the AAS/Alex track but both tracks have shorter layouts compared to the real-life one (Azat's one is closer to the real track, tho), which means another update would be welcome. Hopefully, I can do it later this month.

I started a similar update with Road Atlanta and should get it done during the weekend.
