Good luck for Dmitriy Shimanaev for his career that it's just starting. Way better than my first race.

i cant understand those people who are running with auto brakes.. except from the very young ones (probably kids) . whats the point of racing if you use autobrakes... back in 1998 i played for the first time f1gp in my brothers pc.. he put to me automatic brakes .. and immediately i switched them of... i was 8 years old at that time..i understand all the other driving aids inluding the no damage fuction... but if you are not a kid ,, then why to play with such a kind of help..

Well, that's impressive! I opted for doing the whole first season on Rookie and only move up to Amateur after winning at Rookie.

I think there was an upside or racing at Rookie with auto-brakes. As the auto-brakes are terribly ineficient, you are forced to work and learn to work with set-up, in order to gain advantage. You can't gain advantage by just driving, as the auto-brakes won't let you :) I got so dedicated to set-up that I only got real difficulties from rivals again at Ace level - I became an early Prost. (Yeah, my Ace and Rookie season were the most difficult to win the championship - auto-brakes are really bad!)

Anyway, Shimanaev is growing strong and his second race is out! (In my Rookie season I actually qualified, unlike him).

Nice to see people return or start to/with GP2.
I discovered another fanatic who restarted his "career".

Shimanaev already finished his third Grand Prix! I think it's now time for him to consider work on his set-up.
