Problem with Ale's Record Editor

Hi everyone,
I just downloaded the very nice utility "Ale's Record Editor" by Alessandro Carrera. However, when I try to use it, there is one strange problem: it exports the dates wrongly. For example, instead of May 26, 1951 (which I entered in the editor, by going to the calendar and manually picking the date), I get July 14, 2131. When I import the values back from GP2, they are still messed up. I tried entering an earlier date in the editor, such as April 6 1771 (same number of days from May 26, 1951 as May 26, 1951 is from July 14, 2131), but this does nothing. It seems the messed up values are somehow fixed in F1GSTATE.SAV.
Does anyone know this problem and how to solve it? Thanks in advnace.
