Guys,

My mind has gone totally blank!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you remind me how to make sure I don't need to do any pitstops for myself and CC cars if I race at 100% with laps set at around 17-25 laps???

Am running a F3 season you see...

As a quick solution I`d make the 100% race distance as high, that you have the desired amount of laps in a 25% race.

MaxX, will I need to alter the failure probability numbers for the carset?

I'm currently running a make-shift Formula renault season for 1993 and all reliability factors are set at 4649.

I have used Ale's Pit&Lap Editor to set the race laps to 11, 17, 19 etc etc (all within 25 laps tops) but I have to specify a lap for them all to stop on.

Using the reliability settings, results are usually about 4 retirements per race.

Just put 100% cars to make 1 pit at one lap after the race end.

I don't know about the pit & lap editor, but it works with the Track Editor.

Regards

Four retirements per race sounds about right to me.

Open the track in the editor.

Go to track menu ->track name and change the number of laps to the one you want.

Go to the pitlane menu and select pit stop srategies.

Put 100% to 1 pits, put "start pit" (I don't have the edior here, but it's something like that) to the lap after the race end (if the race has 25 laps, put 26) and put zero at the pit window.

Now you may run 100% races.
