Looking around on the internet and it seem that a load of stuff you used to be able to download for GP2 has now vanished into thin air.

One example is the carsets from SimCyberworld.

Basically I used to have many of these on a former computer but thats all gone now.

So I was wondering if anybody had any of the following.

Its not so much I can't get hold of the respective years because I can from GrandPrix2.de but for me a lot of the editing fun was finding the best, most artistic carset I could.

In particular anything by Pat Painter, Jose Kaplan, Vito Lombardi, Paul Chaloner and Fernando Cesar I would be very grateful for.

Thanks for the link but everything I seemed to click it just goes to a page saying the "Archive is not found".

Am I doing something wrong or are these files just not in existence anymore.

but anyway. go to archive.org and search for gprix2.com in the way back machine.

Yes I tried that and I still end up with the same problem.

I can get into the site but if I try to download anything i just get a message from wayback machine saying the file requested is not available.

It would be a shame if all of those files had been lost. Hopefully someone has them backed up somewhere else.

I was reading on another thread on this board that you are renown for having loads of GP2 files.

Thanks for the links....seems there is a real void of decent early 90s stuff when before there was a surfeit of it.

So GrandPrix2.de and smyoung.fsnet are the only places to get carsets these days ???

With the last one the files are no longer available for downloads however.

These carsets remember me at my first works. I have to say mines looked a little bit better, but not that much. The style was the same. But I never painted such fictional crap cars. For me personal fictional cars are somehow a waste of time, I only want to make real stuff.
