A doubt about Magic Data

Hey guys. I'd like a little help from you.

I'm tweaking the magic data for each track to simulate the 1984 season. I have always used the tracks at their preferred slots (San Marino #3, Monaco #4, Montreal #6, Monza #12 etc).

But I'm thinking of performing the season with the races in its correct order (Bra #1, SA #2, Bel #3, San Marino #4 etc). So, my question/doubt is: if I put, for example, Monaco at F1CT06 and load the proper Magic Data to slot 6, it will work as well as at F1CT04?

yes - the magic data is the only thing that affects slots, your thinking is correct
