hey guys,
long time fan of GP2. Love the Monza track but can only obtain a best lap of 1m.22,043s
In desperate need of a good set up to get back into the low 1,21s as back in the day. any ideas?
MONZA Lap record
Re: MONZA Lap record
Hello and welcome to the forum!
Assuming you're with the vanilla game version with 790 HP for qualifying. (The quickest way to improve that would be to get a 900 HP engine. Or 1000 HP. Or 1400!! )
I'm at the 1m22 too, so I can't give great advice. But I'm a fan to try to qualify with setups reasonably close to the race ones; if you got to a "hotlap" mode, I think you'll quickly improve.
There are experts in hotlapping in this forum that might give you better advice, but the first step is to lower your ride height and not caring if the plank hits the asphalt - as long as you don't get penalised before the qualifying lap...
Cheers for another member of this awesome community, and have fun with GP2!

The BMW Megatron 4 Cylinder turbo was nearly the 1400 horsepower you describe. I think it was 1350?
