You open dosbox and run GP2Video (not GP2Lap). It will create a copy of your GP2.exe called GP2v.exe and it will patch it. GP2v.exe is the one you should rename to GP2.exe so you can play the game and have the long replays. At least this is how I remember it. I can't test it now.
