Hi Guys decades ago(lol) when I was playing I used to be able to get full replay of the game. Can't remember how I got it. Can anyone help?

Hey man! If you look in the editors, patches and utilities section,
you will find gp2Video. With that you can play a full replay.

Just unzip and put the gp2video.exe file in the gp2 directory.
But it is not a program to execute. It's more an extension of the already existing replay feature.
Now do what you always do when you want to replay. Just press "R". Just make sure you read gp2video.txt to use the right keys.

Hi guys, just found this post - lord knows how I missed it!
Ive followed these steps and placed GP2Video into the game, but when I run it in DOS and click R, nothing happens.
If I press P then R, there is a replay but it is not the GP2Video one.

Any advice?....

any idea why Im getting this having renamed GP2Video to GP2.EXE?

Not 100% sure, but I supposte that GP2Video.exe still needs the original GP2.exe, so renaming wouldn`t work. GP2Lap unfortunately has no parameter to start another .exe other than GP2.exe. So you have to choose to use GP2Lap or GP2Video. At least that is my current knowledge, would be happy to hear about a workaround, I would like to use GP2Lap and GP2Video in combination as well

I think you need to patch GP2.exe with GP2Video. It will create a file called GP2v.exe iirc, then you can rename that file to GP2.exe and use it with GP2Lap.

Im confused, when you say I need to 'GP2.exe with GP2Video' how exactly do I do that?....
