LCDTool cockpits crash

Hi,
I have a problem when trying to use custom
cockpits installed with LCDTool. The game
keeps crashing under Windows XP although
it runs normally with the original cockpit
and other cockpits not made with LCDTool.
The LCDTool cockpits work with DosBox
but my computer is too slow to handle the
emulation.
Has anyone encountered this problem?
Thanks.

Yes I am from Greece! but I don't currently live in there unfortunately...
About my problem, for example I'm installing the "1986 Lotus - Paul Ludlow" cockpit
from this place
http://www.grandprix2.de/cockpits/f1tea ... team_2.htm
by using the LCDTool1.04 attached in the description of the cockpit.
GP2 keeps crashing on Windows XP when starting a race,
although it works with DOSBox. This crash occurs
with every cockpit installed with LCDTool.
On the other hand the game runs normally with other custom
cockpits (.cpd,.gp2, etc) on Windows XP.

Den glitonete exei pantou folia!!
English: Thanks, it's a shame
that these cockpits made with LCDTool
don't seem to work on Windows Xp,
they have an astonishing amount of detail.

I had this same problem a few years ago and I don't remember exactly how I fixed it. But I think (not sure), after exporting the file to the game I would import the cockpit into GP2Edit and check GP2Edit's cockpit editor for weird values, like negative values for element positions.

Thanks for the response. I have been trying something like
this but didn't manage to fix the problem unfortunately. I will keep
experimenting.
