Hey guys, after a long and hard journey of failures i finally managed to run GP2 again
(Mybe you remmeber me, i wa shere under the name 78omt before, can't activate that account anymore somehow)
Ok i am really happy to be able to play this wonderful game again.
However, i do have a little problem with GP2edit. Somehow i can't export data to the game.
When i go on the Export to the game field, i cann not export data, because the export button cann not be cklicked on. The spelling export to game remains in that light grey color tone, not in the full dark one. So i can't cklick on the button and hence can't export any data.
Has anyone an idea what the problem might be? And how i might fix it?
Thanks guys!
Exporting Data from GP2 edit

Re: Exporting Data from GP2 edit
Ok i was too euphoric
The export buton works now. However, when i run the game in Dos Boy, it does not use the exported data.
Is it not possible to use exportetd Datawith dos box?

Re: Exporting Data from GP2 edit
It makes no difference to DosBox. Check if your gp2 folder is not "read only" and check all the options when exporting the data.Tommi870 wrote:Ok i was too euphoric

Re: Exporting Data from GP2 edit
Thansk yes, that was the problem.
Unfourtantely, i can't get rid of the "read only" thing. Whenver i undo it, it simply keeps coming back all the time

Re: Exporting Data from GP2 edit
Check the whole GP2 folder at once and make it "Read Only" after that undo this. In this way every single file will become (if its not) and undo this operation at the game directory.
