hello f1gp archive.. may i ask if you have 3 carsets for f1gp.. i mean the 99 carset , the 2000 carset and the 2001 carset?? if you have them can you please upload them here or just send them to me. THANKS IN ADVANCE

The recent carsets make the game go slow, any guess why?

In what way is it going slow?

Low frame rate? The AI cars are slow?

The game goes slow, very slow. I have trying running it in all frame rates possible but keeps going slow.

Are you using DOSBox?

What is your DOSBox configuration?
core, cputype, cycles?

Normally, the carset shouldn't have anything to do with how fast the game is running.
It just changes the colors in the game.

i am more than certain that your problem is the dos box cycle. Do not worry when yoy open f1gp pres ctrl+ f11 , by this you increase the dos box cycles as you will see in the dos box window. According to my experience every value bewteen 15.000 and 15.000 is good, not more because then the game will run too fast , not less because of the opposite

ctrl +f11= increase dos box cycles
ctrl+f12 = decrease the dos box cycles

P.S The combination keys are correct but i am not so syre if you increase by f11 or by f12 to be honest .. in any case it is one of them. so if it is not f11 it is f12. For this i am sure

Hi!

I bought a retro computer and I have a memory problem; when I try to load the game, DOS says that too much memory has been already allocated.

I know there's an easy work around but can't remember it!

Sorry, I have no idea. Maybe I'm too young for it my first PC was Win95, only friends and school were running DOS solely.
Is it impossible to upgrade he memory? It would be nice for F1GP and many other games....
