A few words about Grand Prix 4

It is the last of the series by Geoff Crammond, who had also promised us Grand prix 5, but no one has not seen it until the moment and we will not even see it.

As said for this simulator, there are too many quarrels, sometimes it has happened as well as too many jealousies he envies, and more, personally I stopped giving the modded copy of the current year to various people, for a simple reason, the illegal seller ebay, surely you too have heard of it, it sells illegally we copy them modded by us until 2017, then maybe we understood who it is, and we took the measures, in fact for four years now , he was no longer able to get our mods

A mod involves a lot of work and real sacrifices, I would like to share 2021 with this community, but at the moment I don't promise anything, this community seems calm and peaceful, good people kind answers and more

hey mate, i am 11 years in this community and we dont have nothing similar to what happened in gp4 community. i know there were certain problems as you mention, BUT HERE everyone who makes something and share it with the community even if it is something of his own making or something that he had found contributes a little bit in keeping this game alive, i would love a 2021 grand prix 4 version even with original tracks, and i believe many members would like it as well .

Agreed, the community is to small for quarrels, all are happy to get new stuff and is is not always possible to contact inactive or barely active authors. Some authors also have a line "adapt if like" in the readme of their works but still I ask active authors if it`s ok to adapt their work. Because the main-site is not updated any more we use the forum to share and here it is no prob to conctact the guys.

But as mentioned above, I have never seen any stuff like that here, it`s a very warm and welcoming community we have and I really appreciate that and hopefully we will still will be here after GP2 turns 30

totally agree with MAX, personally i will be here, i have all the four gpx series game and also some of the newest one.. asseto corsa gran turismo f1 codies games , but man there is something about gp2 that i cannot find in any of this games. there are times that i feel a little down and a prefer to play a race in gp2 to chill out than in any of the other games. GP2 WHAT A GREAT GAME

why not upload it in this thread with strict permission to be freely distributed or with strict referecne to your name from anyone who wants to upload it in any other site for download.. or else you can send the specific link for download via pm ,, in any one of those who want the mod

To have the 2021 mod, the thing was conceived as follows: registration is necessary, accessing the link, a password is requested, to obtain it, at least 5 posts and one presentation to the forum are required, after which the admin will send by private message the password to get the mod 2021, do not ask for the password in this board, as it will not be sent to you

The conditions are these the users already registered, they can request the password to the admin, not before having made 5 posts
