In gp2's "control setting" menu- there is an option for steering wheel lock angle. Those of you that race with a steering wheel (or other true analog device) - what angle do you find works best? and why?

If you are looking to drive open wheel cars on an oval, you will find that Indycar Racing 2 is probably a better game.

You did a good job of painting the cars! I like the bright orange color myself for the orange of the madonna though. Funny because when I race in gp2 (or icr2) I always pick a random team and driver to be as the "you" car. This year (2001 season) I am driving as "E. Pacheco" of the "Losel" team haha...

Most of those corners are "compound" corners (where the exit of one and the entrance of another overlap). Never mind the above post. I figured out the control calibration driven box fixed the problem. After trying it for a while I've noticed the steering is really, really sensitive and the car tends to wander around the track with very little or no steering input. Personally I like to spice up things a little and make things more random so that there are more possible winners of a race. I find that increasing the grip range makes some of the mid-quality teams eligible to win a race every now and then.

sometimes when I break down and fail to finish I will make a snack and watch the rest of the race in TV mode. Sometimes I pretend I am Murray Walker LOL.
