Re: Playability and realism of GP2 compared with today's games
Those are interesting insights - eventually I'll end up getting a wheel to some PSX model to play with my kid in the future. Although GP2 allows us to have more than 200 tracks (my estimate)... Well, I didn't quite tried Assetto Corsa nor rFactor, anyway. But there is another issue. Do modern F1 gam...

Re: rremedio's website and thread
As one might guess, the recent Singapore GP was the reason for me to remind that I still hadn't solved my issue with file size limit and GP2Limit. Now I've already done a couple of laps at Marina Bay, track by Thomas Kost and Tim de Klein, a lovely job with a night track in GP2! Very likely to inclu...

Re: rremedio's website and thread
Running GP2limit in DosBOX and appears this:
path not found in module gp2limit at address 018b:0123
It's Win 8.1, running as administrator does nothing.
What could I do? Thanks

Playability and realism of GP2 compared with today's games
This is a kind of off-topic talk but I think it fits here nonetheless. Those of you who have been playing the F1 games for Playstation by Codemasters, how do you compare the playability of those games against GP2 and the 2 successors? Back in the day, I really felt that the playability of GP2 was su...

Re: Say hello if your still playing GP2
I recently finished qualifying in Suzuka for the 15th GP of my 2nd career game season. I did 1m37.4 (6th) while Alonso, in the sister Google car and with a Random Grip Range of 700, did just 1m37.8. The attached jpegs shows the carset main data and the top 10 (could not place it neither upload txt f...

Re: “We were best of the rest – so we won Formula 1 Grand Prix 2!”
The way things are in the Hybrid era, the 3 top teams being almost unbeatable by any other team under normal circumstances, it's like the rest of the field is a 2nd tier class, hence "GP2". Force India is the usual winner of this. But yes - I also spotted that someone was mentioning "Grand Prix 2" o...

Re: Halo: next suggestion for cockpit designers
I hope not :D The Halo has reminded me that in 1969 F1 got the first winglets which were quicly replaced for proper wings, ann in 1998 we had a couple of side winglets that were quickly vanished. I wonder if the GP2 carsets of those season included them...? I'm optimistic and I think the Halo won't ...

Halo: next suggestion for cockpit designers
The internet is being critic, but the question remains: how to interpret this concept into GP2 cockpits? (image attached)

Baku-like track?
We don't have Baku F1 track nor I think anyone is building it. Which is the current track pack circuit most alike with Baku? With walls, 90 degree turns, long straights?
I would say Phoenix. Only missing the castle section.

Longest GP2 race possible?
I installed Nordschleiffe60 in slot 1, calibrated to do 99 laps and put it in Ace level. Just for the fun, uploaded a carset of Le Mans (of 1999). Chose no player - just to see how much time would take.
Race won by Gené/Minassian in a Peugeot 908 HDi FAP after 4h 49m.58.653.

Help to find utilities
Hello all,
Could anyone know if there is available, and as I can't find them:
- GP2Edit in version 1.85?
- ceiling cockpits for Le Mans carsets?
Thanks

Re: Say hello if your still playing GP2
Hi! I am - not as regularly as I would wish, but I'm doing a kind of a career championship (I talk about it elsewhere in the forum, here: http://grandprix2.de/gp2forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&p=16037&sid=c8593627c634a7aa29ff6640e848a4bd#p16037). Is it possible to play GP4 without CD and without a CD driv...
