Re: Nine new tracks for GP2
Antonio - is there anyway you can do the CART 1990/1991 track at Denver? I see that this track was completed by Mikael Olsson back in 2000 because it's available on the "tracks download" section but in the track information file it says that the author had no clue what the surroundings looked like s...

Re: "snap oversteer" on corners that have height transitions
In my opinion this is the biggest flaw in the game. Same thing across many tracks. We need to find a way to modify the physics so height changes have less affect on the handling of the car. I am not so much talking about playing with the setup (because this will affect the car everywhere on the trac...

Re: Track types to set brake balance back / front
Use the wheel-speed traces in the graphs of your lap data. When you brake at the end of a straight and your speed starts dropping the graphed wheelspeed will go down. Sometimes when a tire locks up you will hear it start to screetch... you can see this because there will be a sharp dip down in the g...

Re: What technical problems causes AI to retire?
BTW samsepi0l, are you running 1993 season with refueling on? I have been considering running some pre 94 season at some point but I was unsure if there is a way to disable refueling. Yes- I use refueling. The only reason I change carset years is so I get to learn the different drivers and cars and...

Re: What technical problems causes AI to retire?
I haven't paid that close attention to this but I suggest looking at the next car you see on fire when they are racing. I think they always retire when they start on fire when on the track. FYI You can adjust the reliability numbers in gp2 edit. When the player has a problem, it kind of "handicaps" ...

Re: "snap oversteer" on corners that have height transitions
Has anyone been able to fix this with the car setup without adversely affecting the other corners?
I have been messing with the damper settings but honestly I can't really "feel" a difference based on the adjustments of the slow-damper settings.

Re: Track map issues in-game
If I were you, I would take one of the track maps that works correctly and place it in the spot of one that doesn't.
See if it looks garbled like that.

Re: dosbox ece or dosbox svn daum..
in any case i cannot see why some many people as you say are so biased against daum and so favoured to ece.. the ONLY thing that i personally noticed is that the graphics in full screen mode are better in ece (less pixelized to explain this better). if anyone knows better this differences feel free...

Re: dosbox ece or dosbox svn daum..
maximize window is done with ECE by pressing "alt and enter" at the same time. hit "alt and enter" again and it will shrink the window again. I use ECE and it works fantastic for me. I don't know the differences so much but the educated folks at dosbox forum seem to really put DAUM down for some rea...

I suggest dosbox ECE. There is another thread about this. You really should read the full thread: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=17464&sid=d359c0a3c ... ba8e9a2b3d
