Re: New tracks & carsets - Michael82
I was wondering if anyone has been able to pass other CC's exiting the tunnel and braking for the slow chicane. No matter how much I try to practice I can't get a good enough exit out of the Portier corner (where senna crashed in 88) to catch up and draft going down the tunnel. (even against slower...

Re: Is there a mod for Potrero de los Funes?
The track is indeed kind of incompletebut nothing serious. It lacks almost all of the braking "300, 200, 100" signs. At some spots it seems to lack textures for escape areas. But the escape area where I went got me in bad terrain, so let's try not to cut them. But it is perfect to give it a go! The ...

Re: Is there a mod for Potrero de los Funes?
I am, and likely will be for next couple of decades, fascinated for the huge vault of racing tracks developed by this amazing modding community. As I don't have the time to perform 100% Race Distance as in my teenage, nor even 50%, and anyway I rely on Ted Meat to do those feats, I prefer to do 10% ...

I don't know... Let's hope it was just a Markus Winkelhock event
(really hope it doesn't continue, this forum is such a relief from the wider internet, for that matter)

I took some time, but I had to say. Underlining or undersigning what Antonio Pessoa. This is one of the most stunning and impressives articles about GP2 that I've ever seen!!

Re: "snap oversteer" on corners that have height transitions
Hello samsepi0l, just to confirm - no, I never tried the polar moment of inertia editor. I strongly encourage you to try and come back with your findings - this seems to be kind of unexplored territory in GP2! Maybe Ted Meat could, in the near future, try to tell his mechanics of the Season of Pain ...

Re: Polar moment of inertia of current F1 cars
Hello samsepi0l, and thanks for your answer. Unfortunately I can't be helpful - I never got to change the polar moment of inertia in the editor, as I always felt that the car reactions were perfect and I was afraid of not being able to control it if I tinkered with that

Re: New tracks for GP2 - Antonio Pessoa
Those are great news! And thanks for putting it here, I hadn't heard it before (sorry - don't always follow news from Brazil).
Would it be clockwise or anticlockwise?
It doesn't make sense for the city and state of Rio de Janeiro not to have a solid and decent racing circuit. Keep it up!

Re: New tracks & carsets - Michael82
Hello everyone, I've been away for a couple of months but nothing serious - work is taking a little too much of my time. I still haven't tested the new Montreal tracks but I watched Michael's videos and I can't wait to try! The video clearly shows that now we have to brake really hard into turn 4, n...

Re: Pit stops in 50/100 race distance
I have good experience of 50% race distance Grand Prix. I made my first two "official" seasons in 50% before "upgrading" for 100%. In my second "stint" of playing, this last decade, I've returned to do some 50%. Basically what will happen is that the CC-cars will either choose to do 1 stop or not to...

Re: A new track ?
"Regarding Suzuka, I could be even more demanding: along with a contemporary version, we could also have a side version bending/mixing the 1987-2001 versions, or focusing on one of them (like it was in 1994, for instance)." Let me just confirm that Michael82 has finished his Suzuka work and totally ...

Amazing!! Thank you very much!
The timing is perfect - actually, still one week left to the 1989 Suzuka race anniversary, which was on October 22nd
