Fuel settings for quick races

I noticed that when I started a quick race of 4 laps on interlagos, I only had fuel for 5 laps. Doesn't gp2 normally add a safety margin of 2 laps of fuel?
So it should be fuel for 6 laps.

I checked gp2edit and my quickrace length setting is 5%. When I up the quickrace length, the fuel is not automatically changed either.

CPU drivers do have the correct amount of fuel.

Any Idea how this is possible?

Wish I could help you here. I never quite understood how quickrace fuel was done. I only found quickrace useful for changing the randomness of the results prior to a real non-championship race. I always thought it was strange the car would only be filled up for a few laps then I would need to pit while no-one else would need to.

You probably have some fuel setting enabled in your car setup that is converting to 5 laps when the quickrace starts.
