After the Quali, we almost gave up our chances of taking the championship.

But Gerhard made a clear race today and hell yes We are World Champion.
He did what we want.... He said goodbey to us with the Championship.

To tell you the truth... being able to compete for driver's world championship until three races to go has been wonderful. I would like to thank Riccardo Patrese for what he has done this year, since he became a better and better driver, resulting more effective than a multiple world champion like Prost. We're happy to see Prost doing well with another car - that's why he should have complained less and worked harder to collect nice results with us, just like Patrese did. Alex Zanardi has shown a great, great improvement during the 2nd half of the season, and we would like to thank him too, since he brought points home, and he had been able to step up onto the podium in Sweden. Overall we are satisfied, and next year we'll try to compete for the championship until last race.
That's why, Zanardi going back to Lotus due to end of loan, Ferrari is proud to announce that Jean Alesi, 1991 world champion, will be his next driver for 1993.

Not a single point, many DNFs, many DNQs and many DNPQs. Best result, an 11th place in Monaco. Three drivers, but nothing changed. Simply a disappointing season, from all points of view. We'll start next season with the 107 C model, but our technicians are already working on a brand new chassis, which will be called 109 and will be ready from mid-may onwards. We hope in the new partnership with a consistent engine like Hart, and with the comeback of Alex Zanardi doing superb at Ferrari, with the "lion" Michele Alboreto to try and collect vital points.

Williams:
It's very sad that we lost the drivers cc due to such a dump crash. But we are proud that we finally saved the constructor's cc one yeare again.

Tyrell:
Luckily we were able to improve during the season and are a little bit sad that we lost Hakkinen just after one - fantastic - year.

HF: The team looked since the silly season for a new driver because we knew that there won't be Alesi in the next year. Finally we watched Ayrton for the rest of the season and we made the clue that he will be the perfect driver for the vacany cockpitl
Newsmag: So what are the aims forr this season?
HF: You may imagine: winning both championships! With Ayron and Nigel we have two very strong and talented guys. I think they will be two of four drivers who will fight for the championship.
Newsmag: What is more important to you: the constructor's or driver's championship?
HF: Well, this is a quite difficult question. Of course the constructor's championship is much better for the team but the driver's one is more glorious. So I think both would be perfect
