I never have and probably never will, exactly because of the money it would involve...

I've seen some older cars during a challenge at Nürburgring though... including a ridiculously loud Ferrari V12 from the 90s... :)

I went in Interlagos 5 times, in 1990, 1991, 1996, 1998 and 2001.
It is wonderful, the best sensation that there is!

"Only" is a nice understatement, isn't it? That always seems to be quite of a spectacle over there as far as I've seen and hear... :?

I was in Hockenheim for the 89' German GP, and at Magny-Cours for the 92' French GP. :)

I had the chance to go to the 1992 British GP with my friend (the one where the crowd invaded the circuit after Mansell had destroyed the field) and turned it down! Error...

Have been to the last 3 Silverstone GP's. But not going this year. Just decided to miss it out. I'm regretting that actually. Maybe I won't - I dunno.

It's just getting out of there annoyed the fuck out of me last eyar and it was soooo hot.

I guarantee I spent at least £30 on Ice cream last Silverstone weekend.

Yeah, The Bernie Show seems to have the same motto as the old Brooklands circuit did in the 1920's; "the right crowd and no crowding". Now, as then, "the right crowd" appear to be folk with money to throw away, rather than true fans. A bit like football over here in Britain has become: a closed shop purely for corporate types.

No F1, I was too young (a couple of months) when F1 came to Holland for the last time. But I've seen the A1Gp last october at Zandvoort

I was at the A1 race in Zandvoort as well, enjoyed it a lot, best value for money....
F1 is too expensive, I go to several EuroBOSS and TGP races plus a handfull of F1 demos.
Why spend 300 or more euros in 1 weekend if you can spread it over 8 weekends.

For those of you who don't know EuroBOSS or TGP, they race with F1 cars.
EuroBOSS uses cars from 1985 up to 2003 (livery is up to owner/driver)
TGP uses cars from 1970 up to 1985 (all in original livery)

I love the idea of the TGP but every car seems to be a Williams FW07! Does the Lotus 88 still race in it? I was going to go a TGP race at Brands Hatch a couple of years ago but never got round to it.
