Grandprix2.de appears to no longer allow new registrations, which is unfortunate because there are still people discovering and enjoying Grand Prix 2 today.
Because of that, I decided to create a new community at gp2icr2.org.
The goal is simple:
Preserve knowledge, tools, tracks, and discussions related to GP2 and ICR2
Give existing fans a place to continue chatting and sharing projects
Give new users a forum they can actually register on and participate in
This was not done to compete with grandprix2.de. Quite the opposite - it was done because many of us care about preserving these games and the community surrounding them before more information disappears over time.
If you are still working on tracks, utilities, physics, CC-lines, carsets, tools, graphics, setups, or just enjoy talking about classic racing sims from the 1990s, feel free to stop by and register.
The site is still growing, but the foundation is there and I plan to keep building it over time.

Re: new forum for gp2 available
Thank you.
It's really sad that grandprix2.de seems to have died, with no updates anymore. I also see the GP2 Discord community as something of a double-edged sword.
A few months ago, I downloaded everything from grandprix2.de and burned it onto a DVD. That way, if the website ever disappears, all the files will be preserved.

Last week I changed the color theme so it feels similar but looks just a little different.
I also refreshed and added the legacy track editing info and added that too. I wanted to get all of the help and guide stuff done first. I have a week off of work this week so I'm sure I'll get a lot done in the next few days.
