Hi all!

Today I post a new track for my 1984 mod. It is Monza the most famous high speed track. Don't forget to use GP2limit for that. Enjoy!

Michael, nice work, like all the others!
I love that 1984 tracks you make. Monza, Zandvoort, Hockenheim, Detroit, Imola (1993 and 1994), Brands Hatch... the niciest I've seen for GP2! :D
Thank you for our fun on those days when seems so few guys plays GP2, but we're still alive!

I was trying AAS's version of Belini's Tsarskoye Selo and noticed that the ccline was a bit off so I checked and I found some small errors in the track data (probably because of some automation used to convert the data) and some differences in the ccline (probably to make it fit the incorrect track data). I took a few minutes to fix it by copying the data from the original track (just a very few sectors were incorrect) and it worked correctly.

So here it goes. If someone ever wants to use this track, this will be the best version.

Many, many thanks. I'm a big fan of that track. I raced it once (50% Race Distance) with rear wing 1 and I paid the price of not using a decent setup. I'll get back there, for sure.

When Belini made those fantasy tracks he advertised his package as being very harder than normal GP2 (something like its semi-pro level being as hard as normal ace level or something like that). While I never played his pack as he intended (it had an installer which would tweak game data to work with his tracks) I believe he managed to achieve those harder levels because man, he used dirty tricks :P

All those tracks have well placed hard bumps in order to make your life miserable. That's actually a clever use of a GP2 "flaw" where gradient changes affect the player's car but not the cc cars. So by placing those hard bumps (bumps made with gradient changes instead of changing track bumpiness value for the sector) at corner entries (making braking harder) or inside the corner (making the car prone to spin or go straight instead of turning correctly), he made it impossible to match the cc speed at some corners.

Tsarskoye Selo and Ambleside are the two tracks where those effects are used more lightly in the whole track pack and because of that, they are the easier tracks to drive. But it still may cause problems if you are too aggressive or if you have a bad setup.

Btw if setup correctly, using rear wing 1 shouldn't give you problems in long races because the actual gain from higher wings is very small compared to the speed loss. But I like to use higher wings so I don't need to set up the ccs to match my rw 1 speed. So I always decide the rear wing value according to my teammate top speed in a track.

I made this for personal use and I'm posting it here in case someone wants to use it.

ccline update for Kyalami 92 by Peter L Kessler & Yunus Patel

It makes it more pleasant to drive imo. Also, it stops the ccs from braking in the middle of some corners like it happened in the original track.

This was a quick update, many thing from the orginal ccline were kept in order to finish it quickly, but they are things that do not affect time very much.

Qual é a chicana problemática?

*ENG: I watched the ccs for a few laps and I didn't see anything wrong except for it probably being too hard to drive (for the human player) with ccline going through those giant curbs. What is the problem chicane?

*ENG: Indeed I made some more tests and the carnage is real.

I tried to fix it by changing the "Unknown Various Data [8]" factor to 0 in the Track Editor but it only fixed accidents caused by cars coming in the outside.

I'm gonna try to fix the ccline, but being a problem in the beginning of the lap makes the whole thing harder since you need to adjust all the remaining ccline when you change a ccline section.

Ok, here you go.

This wasn't a very detailed job, I hope I didn't ruin the rest of the track. It surely became slower compared to the original, since I tried to avoid getting the cards into the kerbs. Also, some other parts may feel weird because I didn't spend much time fixing the issues caused by the changes, but it worked ok in my tests.
