Actually, my first CD with heavy guitars was Iron Maiden's 'Brave New World' album lent to me by a friend of mine. Good introduction.
Maybe I'll give the old albums a spin these days. There definitely are some great songs on there - too bad the only stuff they seem to play nowadays is 'Number of the Beast', 'Hallowed be thy Name' and 'The Trooper'...
But I hear there will be a rather big Powerslave/Seventh Son tour next year, so that should be cool... at least on the predictable DVD that could arise.
I'm a die-hard Maiden fan since I was a teenager. Sadly this tour won't come to Brazil. In fact I love all albums, except No Prayers For the Dying and Virtual XI. But my real favorites are the albums from Iron Maiden up to 7th Son.
