Some unfinished work

Post by rremedio »

Hey guys!

I have had some hd crashs recently and I've lost some of my work. There's a lot of unfinished work I still have anyway. Some of them I won't edit anymore, so I will post them here for you guys to take a look and if someone wants to finish them, feel free.

First one is the set of alternative spare cars I was doing for season 2009. Some of them look good, others not...I will post it here becouse I don't think the set has quality enough to be in AAS site (and it's unfinished).

When I have more free time I'll post other work (mainly unfinished tracks).

I'm not leaving GP2 editing, but you'll see less and less stuff from me in the future.

Regards

The cars you have finished have a really good quality. I like the Minardi, the design is convincing!

Thank you guys for the nice words!

@AAS: I think some cars are good, but some cars are not, and others are not finished. I think it should be better for them to be finished before they are known by the "non-patcher" gp2 players. :)

Well, here goes another file.

It's a really nice track: Nurburgring Sudschleife. I'm posting it here hoping that someone finishes it. I may finish it by myself someday, but problaby in 2010 or 2011, so it would be better if someone else make it.

Some months ago I've added fences from tk's Nordschleife. The buildings are based on GPL original Nordschleife.

Everything is based on this great site: http://sudschleife.8200rpm.com/

EDIT: upload error, I'll send it again tomorrow.

I've always loved your work, most of your cars have ended up in the WRL Archives!!!

I would like to do some work with these for definite.

I just tried the circuit and it is nice track indeed. Sense of speed and variations of layout makes these old circuits fun to drive (lack of kerbs makes things harder though). So it was (separate) part of old Nurburgring (didn't know that before:) Hopefully this track will be finished some day. At the moment I can't help with it, just struggling to finish my old tracks when there isn't too much time to use. Perhaps sometime in next year... If then yet needed I would gladly help doing at least some parts of it like height or object editing. I don't know how much there is information available about the track (or how accurate it can be done).

What's the situation with the Sudschleife? (Before starting anything on it, if that's fine by you). Interesting way of doing (short) pit straight by the way!

I didn't touch it for a long time (since I've posted it here, I guess). You may finish it if you want. I would be very happy.

By the way, the forest trees on your Anchor Bay track would fit it perfectly.

The short pit worked well becouse there were no sidelines on the track.
