Can`t wait to get my hands on your version :) The video you posted was one with original track though I suppose :D

Thank you Maxx! Sorry I put the bad link. It is correct now.

You`re welcome and it looks fantastic. There are worlds between vanilla version and yours, will be interesting if you manage to get dosbox into trouble with that one

Thanks! :D I made that with dosbox ECE so I think it would be okay even if it is better with a real dos or win9x environment.

It works very good in my virtual Win XP and dfend-reloaded :D from time to time I copy the whole GP2 folder to a native WinXP machine, where GP2 runs naturally and it surely will work.

I did some laps and it is a fun to drive, awesome job as usual. Thanks, for that, really serious quality. Even the palm in Loews-hairpin my dad loves is there

Just a small suggestion, it would be awesome to have a switchable sky/horizon like in your Phoenix 91 version. I think this would make the version even better.

Happy to read your comment! It was a long and hard work... It is quite funny to drive in Monte-Carlo near the sea with a blue sky it is better. Of course :D I add some files for that.

It is indeed amazing! Fantastic track and thanks for the time spent to make it.
The view at the Swimming-pool is breathtaking...almost like watching an old tape from the period!

I have a good laptop although now quite old and I still use normal DOSBOX, but for me the speed was perfect from the cockpit...from the TV cameras sometimes slow but not too much.

Many thanks again! \:D/ \:D/ \:D/

Yes, thanks for fast including the "friendlier" horizon. I really like that version and will happily use it for the classic ready to race seasons I already have and most likely also for the 2nd season of my personal carset, where I only include the circuits or versions of them I like most.

It is great to have still people like you investing time in a very old game with a small community (but both rock of course  ). I am really grateful for this =D>

May I raise another suggestion? If you adapt the zoom-rate of camera 6, the loews section would be even more as seen on TV.

In the Example I used factor 500 instead of 2324:
2022-01-12 18_31_40-DOSBox 0.74, Cpu speed_ max 100% cycles, Frameskip 0, Program_ GP2.png
2022-01-12 18_32_35-DOSBox 0.74, Cpu speed_ max 100% cycles, Frameskip 0, Program_ GP2.png
GP2 seems to have problems with overlays, maybe that`s the reason you went for higher zoom-rate? :D

EDIT:
Using Factor 600 looks very nice for the palm:
2022-01-12 18_46_06-DOSBox 0.74, Cpu speed_ max 100% cycles, Frameskip 0, Program_ GP2.png

Thanks for your suggestion ! It was a really difficult part of the track and I don't know how make it perfect. When you are in the first part of the hairpin you don't see (Some objects disapear...) the rest. Maybe with 0xc5.

Yes, that`s true. This section pushes GP2 to its limits it seems :-k

=D> =D> =D> WOW! I'm delightful to play that Monaco 86 track. One of the most realistic I've ever seen. I spend some few hours playing on it yesterday, despite my left arm in cast

Congrats, Michael =D>
