Thanks Henning! I don't want to promise anything, but this project had never gone out of my head. 8)

Your homepage "FK's Group C sportscar - project" is closed.
The project also?

No, actually not. I just cleaned up my webspace a bit. I didn't think there was still someone who would check out this site. But I still have the site on my pc. I think I will update this site when the set is finished and maybe you could integrate it into your site then? (like the A1GP section for example).

About the progress, there is not much new. I didn't spent that much time with editing in the last time, I rather played GP2 because I always had the feeling that the playing itself came a bit too short. So I won the 1991 worldchampionship with Andrea de Cesaris just one point ahead of Ayrton Senna. ;-) And when I did spend some work on editing I worked on a GP2-series car with Direxiv sponsorship that I wanted to include (maybe in an updated version) in a final 2006 carset. For this I'll also make a Prodrive-team to fill the empty slot.

And now back to the sportscar thing: After the Mazda I painted the Courage Cougar which has one of the best-looking designs. That means there is a "playable" carset right now. But many cars are lacking sponsorship and 2 are not really ready (ALD & Mazda which won Le Mans). Further the menu arts are still missing, at least 90% of them.

The carshape works the way I want it now, that's another good info I can give. And I started to create the performance of the carset which is actually a really important thing that shouldn't come too short.

This will be the new site for the sportscars. Currently under construction as you will see.

I made some progress on the website today. Sections to follow will be "1991 carset" where there will be a small screenshot of every 1991 car and "single cars" where I'll put some cars and carshapes in that are finished but don't belong to any carset (Marcos, Nissan, Toyota (and maybe some other will follow)).

If you have further ideas, tell me!

Schuppan Porsche 962C

I made some bigger revises on the SWC carshape and actually I'm really happy with it. I decided to cick the part that is the front of the sidepod on the f1-carshapes, because it disappeared in a lot of situations. It's a lot of additional work to correct the bitmaps, but I decided that it's worth it. I also changed the cockpit (more to the front + more flat), I think the shape looks almost original now.
