To be honoust, I don't know what to expect either.
Never been to something like this, only seen F1 (& A1GP) cars and lower classes formula & touring cars.
I'm going there to deliver a modelcar to a driver, I'll show who afterwards.... 8)

I think the Audi and Peugeot don't really make noise or "music".

I already expected you had a "good" reason not to email me.
I'm looking forward to the update.

"good" the weekend I received the mail I had forgotten the mouse for the laptop and with the touchpad I can't paint, no way. And then I had to write some applications and had to phone around for the same reason and then finally forgot about the mail. That's the complete story. ;-)

Fridtjof, I believe you.

Well, since it will take some more time to finish the set, here are 2 of the improved menuhelmets as a preview.
Enjoy!

Thank you, Henning. 8)
I based a lot of the menuhelmets on Tim's ones, but I have improved them to my liking, as you can see.

I have sent my finished carset (Canada & USA) to Andreas, so hopefully it'll be online soon.
The next set will be based on France and GB.

Special thanks go out to Fridtjof, who updated the sidepods of the McLaren.
It really looks excellent now! 8)

For the next carset I will send you an updated McLaren again. I think there have to be some changes made on top of the sidepods. And the winglets in front of the sidepods should be added. I will try to find a nice solution for it.

Nice carset btw, some good updates!

Well, seeing the first update, I think you'll come up with something good for the next update.

I hope so. Atm I'm not very motivated to continue with the sportscars during the next days, so I rather will work at the McLaren.

What did I pay for?

I really have to thank 2 people for the most parts and some others for some smaller parts.

The set couldn't be made without Tim de Klein and Fridtjof Knirsch.

Some smaller parts come from Henning Fischer, Alexander Diehl, Erick von Draxeler, Sylvester Wever, Merten Wischnewsky, Dan Richards and Jose Henrique S. Viana.

I combine all of their work and finish it off to my liking and hopefully everybody enjoys my sets.
My goal is to provide the very best carset, I can possibly make.
And since I don't have the skills to do everything myself, I use the parts of others. (This explains my work ethic.)

BTW, work on the Charity Red Bull is already taking shape.
You won't be able to see the tiny pictures really, but it resembles the car pretty well, I think.

Oh my god, i think you're the only one who's trying that....
Me certainly not.... :P 8)
Can't imagine how to place all the pictures (photograph's) on the car. I will look messy/disturbed in gp2...

You're a brave man DJS...

The real thing just looks grey from a distance. Horrible.

Anyone going to paint the 30th anniversary Renault? They aren't using it in the race, which is a shame cos it's much prettier than the ING-liveried car...
