This season is pretty exciting so far and I am really looking forward for a another high quality 2018er carset for GrandPrix2. I always liked the fact, that we can fill the carset with fictional teams to get the 26 cars on the grid. I always use Simtek (since 1997) for this and switch the other teams with near-entries or other rejects giving current drivers (test driver or doing at least one race) a seat.

Because of the awesome season I want to have real awesome cars and driver names and teams. My first carset completor will be using the well-known Marlboro Mclaren paints and have Bruno Senna and Nicholas Prost as drivers. I am not sure about the team name, mabye I will use Tyrrell or Brabham. But I am sure to have some great fights at the back of the field

Other possible pairings would be Matthias Lauda and Freddie Hunt and Mick Schumacher with Hugo Hakkinen (althogh he already retired from motorsport). What liveries or pairings do you suggest?

Here is the Marlboro livery, I had to save it as jpg to attach it. I don`t know which people`s work I exactly used to create this, so credit to the GP2-Community in general. It might be one of this guys: Pat Painter, Driver X, SRP, Juha, David Stunndenberg and Tim de Klein. If your name belongs to the list, please tell me :)

I suggest, as I did elsewhere, the Lastname Brothers, to remember the bug that happened in the Australian GP. Maybe in the lower team of all (a Pacific one).

I'm doing the 2003 season now and I'm using the 2013 Lotus, Spyker and Audi liveries for a couple of seasons. Really good paint jobs. Funny that you use Simtek. I made them survival F1 for about 6 years but it didn't work out for them after all.
But I always use young talented drivers or golden oldies for those teams.
Good luck on your 2018 season! 8)

Thanks guys :)

Yap, the Lastname-drivers would make a good joke

I would like to use Alfa Romeo for the Marlboro-livery, because they used them in the 80ies as well, but we have Alfa Romeo. So I chosed to go for Minardi-Honda. The Simtek-Team will also survive one more season  I use Alex Wurz since the 2008er season as Nr. 1 Simtek-driver (because he is co-moderating the F1-coverage on austrian TV). Most likely this will be his last season :D
I also found a revised March livery I made and never used, so this is my third completer and I save some work

Unfortunately it is most likely impossible to ad the halo to the cockpit, but maybe I can find a workaround.

One year ago, there were rumours that we could have a China F1 Team for 2019. I think things never got further than that.

Don't know which drivers would have, but probably Ma Qing Hua would be one of them. Perhaps Kubica could be the other.

In 2017, I imagined an Ecclestone Grand Prix team built with the sole purpose of making money for the owner and disregarding racing competitively, with Lance Stroll and Sergey Sirotkin. Apparently, part of that came true.

I'm also fond of having Gabriele Tarquini somewhere - he's won three races in current WTCR championship edition, something I gind incredible for his age.

Don't know about halo on the outside, but on the inside there could be an option with or without it - and with no central pillar, because the drivers don't actually see it (I learned a few things about stereoscopic vision, lately). I think having a halo jpeg covering sky with improve FPS... (?)

I like your team-thoughts pretty much :)

I wonder if it is possilbe to edit the cockpit pcs properly, there is not much space in the upper area :-k
