Just out of curiosity, does this mod only work with Gp2's original cockpit or does it also work with more modern cockpits (in relation to have the steering wheel turning)?

Yeah I read somewhere that he inserted the newer (movable) wheel/cockpit overlay over the existing one. Maybe it's something that can be worked on in future (not sure how difficult it is!) as it would be good to see different cockpit layouts as the seasons go by, but for now I'm happy with what we have.

This is MEGA
Maybe I am asking a lot, but hopefully this project will become opensource. Im sure community can make their own forks based on what was already done by the author. But anyways, amazing job

Hi all, I'm having an issue with the latest version of Hatcher's GP2 (x86GP2 0.55) and hope someone here can help find a fix.

I've downloaded the latest update from the website and gone through the usual installation process. It worked perfectly fine the first time I used it, but every time I've tried to load it since, it has "failed the integrity test", as per this screenshot:

GP2fail.png

The first version of the mod (x86GP2 0.322) worked perfectly fine on my laptop, it's since downloading this latest version that the issue has started to appear. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and I've done the usual setting of the file path each time, but this now keep appearing.

Has anyone else had this issue and can anyone offer a solution? Any suggestions are hugely appreciated!

Does your problem still exist?

I asked hatcher and he wrote me: "He added the exe to the path which becomes another directory in the path which doesn’t actually exist."

Loving this still, so good. One thing tho, is there a tutorial to use the content folder? I would love the option to create custom championships and carsets where the tyres and cockpits change colours and branding etc. thanks

Thanks!! I used the auto translate and I got some basics, i haven't made it all way the way through yet but my a custom 97 season is coming along. Not sure if you do touch on it but I am struggling with disabling drivers. Can more than just 1 team (2 drivers) be disabled in x86? I wonder if that could be done in future releases.

Thanks anyway. really enjoying modding the game again, but in a different way

Hello everyone.
I'm trying to install xp86GP2, but my computer system can't convert the GP2.exe to the mod version.

When I try to run xp86GP2, the following message appears:

Crash report:
Prev sub: 0x0
This sub: 0x0

I sent an email to the developer, and he suggested adding the mod folder as an exception in the antivirus, but it still didn't work.

Has anyone else experienced this issue (I saw here that Senna78 did) and managed to solve it?
If so, how did you do it?

Do you use win11? Do you launch x86gp2 in administrator mode?

No. I use Win10.
I'll try it, admin mode.
