If he makes it to Spa  . There is nobody who can tell how long Massa will be out of running. Maybe 1 or 2 races, or the rest of the season... :?

But, i like it very much that "Schumi" is back! Only sad news that BMW quits with F1... :(

Too sad, I`ve just read that Schumacher`s neck problems are still to heavy to allow a comeback :(

Yeah, so we get to see, er, Luca Badoer. I like Badoer but he's not quite the same draw!

It would be great if he manages to get some ponts, the heartbreaking 1998er defect on the way to first points is still unforgotten

It was 1999 wasn't it? European GP?

Too bad that Schumacher won't be able to compete.
Now hope that Badoer can do the job properly.... :-k

Interesting. I somewhat expected this to still play a role, but nevertheless, it's surprising. I guess a few impulsive ticketbuyers could be somewhat upset now... ](*,)

I noticed in the report I read that Badoer was described as a "temporary replacement". Does this mean someone else will be in the car for the remainder of the season? For instance, Alonso? Perhaps if Alonso goes Kubica will move to Renault?

Ah my bad, must have been in 1999 :D

It could be possible that another driver takes the seat, but then it should really be a "heavyweight", else they could keep Badoer.

Speaking of a temporary replacement doesn't have to mean anything of that nature. It's still Massa's regular cockpit, obviously, although it's probably too early to tell when he could be able to race again. So, even if Schumacher had raced at Valencia, he would have been Massa's temporary replacement.

Yeah but the overall tone of the article was that Badoer would only be there for a couple of races at most.

This thing keeps changing though, Ferrari now are pushing to run a third car next season with Schumacher at the wheel. Surely though if his neck's buggered it won't matter if there's a third car for him or not!
