I can barely keep up with the news these days. I don't get to look at the internet each day, every time I do, I'm like, "What? Who did what now?" Not a very exciting aspect of the season starting, for me...

When I first heard about Hamilton's disqualification, I thought "oh no, not again"... The perceived vendetta against McLaren continues... Having seen the evidence however, it appears the FIA actually got it right this time. But why the hell did it take this long to come to that conclusion? Why was the radio conversation in question not available at the time of the original stewards decision? These days even the TV company broadcasting the event has access to the radio transmissions of the teams, so surely the stewards can check what the drivers say in an inquiry against any radio evidence straight away?

I think this is/was totally unnecessary.

The incident could have been solved without any disqualification...if McLaren was not honest, well the penalty is finally ok.

I've just read, McLaren has suspended it's Sporting Director.

Here's the statement (I hope the link is working)

Commentated at the British Grand Prix for Formula 1 in 2019 and the Le Mans 24 Hours for ACO in 2016. Yep, I can't believe it either.....
