If this "shark fin" turns out to be a success, next year half of the teams will look like this :)
Just take the last year's front wing bridge of McLaren as an example. How many teams are using it now? Even Ferrari have taken something from this concept.
But there had been also opposite examples - Remember Williams?

I wish DC to take some chaquered flags with this funny thing \:D/

Looks like a totally different concept... a lot of the other teams go for a very sleek, downward engine cover, and Red Bull are trying this out... however, next year's cars could be a totally different issue, because aerodynamics might look different and simpler next year, at least that's what was discussed for a while, as far as I recall... like doing away with the winglets and stuff.

By the way, there were McLaren-style "viking horns" on Wurz' Honda, too.

Does someone remember 1995 McLaren?

Yeah, it now only need a horizontal 'midwing' and than it's a look-a-like!

And yes, it's a scale model.... :-"

Although the fin on the RB4 now seems to reach even farther back than the McLaren thing... nice similarity though. Although obviously Newey wasn't at McLaren when they did this. :)

The idea behind it is to try to smooth out the airflow going to the rear wing so the wing works more efficiently, a bit like McLaren's "Viking horns" that other teams copied last season. Hopefully an added spin-off will be that it means the air coming off the rear wing may be a bit less turbulent and encourage overtaking, but then again, probably not...

Force India presented their new team colours and livery today (gallery).

Some major changes to the design they used during winter testing, but I still think it looks quite elgant, for the lack of a better word...

Terrible pictures. You never see the complete car, very bad perspectives. The photos seem to be taken by some amateur with a digicam... :?

Well, I have to agree with that. Photographically, way too much attention to detail without putting it into any perspective.

After viewing the car for a while i think it's a nice car. It's not as ugly as the Honda at least....

I think the design is beautiful. Although i would need a full-sight picture of the car to finally confirm this... ;-)

Seems I`ve missed it    , but what exactly happened to the project of Prodrive? A clinch with Mercedes? Or do they still plan to join the F1?

I`ll definitaly take them into a 2008-carset using the Force India Testing Livery , the 2008 Force India livery looks not as good as this one :|
