Heh heh heh. That would be funny!

On a more serious note, anyone seen what happened in McLaren's hearing regarding the legality of their 2008 car? They won't be told whether it's legal or not until four weeks before the start of the season, as the meeting has been held back till February. Now I thought the FIA's quota of ludicrous decisions would be well and truly used up by now but they just keep on coming...

FIA and the increase of money...... You read the new rules for aero-tests? Crap in my eyes. Now it's forbidden to have a faster wind than 50 km/h  Where does this end?

I just read the thing with the Renault spyverdict 2.0. Well, why does the FIA know that nothing was used for the Renault? Why in this case? McLaren just had info of the Ferari but didn't used them they said and knowone was able to proof it. Renault said they didn't used but it could have not been profen that they really didn't..... Crazy thing......

If you remember, at the original McLaren/Ferrari hearing McLaren also were not punished, it was the new evidence afterwards and the appeal that did for them.

Not really a big surprise anymore, but Renault have confirmed Alonso and Piquet jr. as drivers for 2008.

Alonso's is a two-year deal interestingly. that would suggest that the rumours about him having already signed a Ferrari contract for 2009 are wide of the mark.

Kovalainen was confirmed by McLaren!
In 2008 Kovalainen will be the teammate of vice 2007 champion Lewis Hamliton! This was expressed by mcLaren today.
Nice to hear, Mclaren will have the youngest drivers in 2008. I hope they will bring that young spirit in the car that they can win any title they can.... \:D/

Where did you hear that? The Renault drivers have the same age: Hamilton is 22 (like Piquet), Kovalainen is 26 (like Alonso). And the Williams duo Rosberg and Nakajima are both 22. So they have the youngest drivers. But in general your right, of course ;-)

It was clear to me that Kovalainen would get that seat, after his marvellous performance in his debut-season it would have been very astonishing if he would not be out of the grid for 2008! I'm happy he got the cockpit, as you can interpretate from my previous sentences I hold much on him.

It's bloody worrying how many F1 drivers are younger than me now...

At the last count I think it was well over half the grid!

Well, after Alonso's move back to Renault was announced, this was the most likely thing to happen, but I think they made a good choice.

Well, I read it on adrivo.com. Okay, I trust you. For me Kovalainen was the only canidate for this vacany seat. Rosberg and Sutil were the men I wanted there but they have contracts......

Confirmed tester I know are:

Williams
- Hülkenberg

Toyota
- Kobayashi

McLaren
- de la Rosa
- Paffet

Ferrari
- Badoer
- Gené

I think Fisichella will get the seat because of his experience and his capability to make the best of backmarker-cars. In smaller teams where he didn't have the pressure to fight for the title he always showed an excellent performance. If it's not Fisico, it'll be Klien for sure.
