Klien would be interesting, but the other candidates would be a step back, if not two, I think. They should give Albers at least the chance to drive 2 or 3 races with the new car. If he should be replaced, the should give his seat to a dutchman like van der Garde or Verstappen (;-))!

I don't think he will be replaced soon. Maybe for the last 2 or 3 races, but not within 2 or 3 races..... :?

Like with the whole Toyota/Ralf Schumacher thing, I don't think replacing the driver here will help the team very much. If it's accurate/true that Albers is one of the drivers also suffering from the transition to the 2007 generation of tires, that probably still needs time. Also, although Sutil might have been faster on some occasions, there were enough scenes with him that made the impression the current Spyker car could be difficult to drive. At the moment, I think they can hope things will be better when they debut their "B-spec car" (Istanbul, right?).

Whether they should or will stay together for next year might be another thing, though - probably mainly depending on whether they could find another Dutch driver with the same or greater potential.

That said, I don't think it's easy to keep up with all these changes and evolutions, in a small(er) team that doesn't have the means to have you sitting in the car (or a "good"/accurate/... simulator for that matter) 24/7 when you're not racing. Mistakes happen, even to a Lewis Hamilton. ;-)

Wht does everybody want to see grandpa racing again?
It would be just like Villeneuve in the Renault in '04, disastrous.....

If they're gonna replace Christijan than please with a new driver, not one from the F1 elderly home.
By the way, Coulthard should be there for a year now, but again Red Bull has choosen to do the wrong thing, I guess they don't want to win races just like Toyota. :?

Albers has moneyproblems. It's official stated by the team. One of his "personal" sponsors laged the finance. He might be replaced in the next race if it's not sorted out before than... :? :(

I reckon the "money problems" are a pretty convenient excuse! No word on who is replacing him yet. Bring back Roberto Moreno!

Vettel, Glock, Ammermüller, Winkelhock, Hülkenberg ?
We need more german drivers !!!

Robert Doornbos ?
The Champcar title is probably more important.

Most talked about is Narain karthikeyan (Williams) or Christian Klien (Honda). Klien is austrian. Is that "german" enough for you.... :?:

Reports say that Klien will test first and than race, untill Roldan Rodriguez (GP2 driver for Minardi/Piquet) gets his F1 licence.
Rodriguez' first race would be Turkey (with the new car..... :( ).
