Ferrari's new colors

On several pictures from Monaco today, it looks like they have applied a bit of a darker tone of red to the car. I've read about people noticing it on other forums as well.

I think it's nice. How about you guys?

.... To much shadows on it in the pic because of the tree it's driving under.... Can't see if it's better...

I think there are little to no shadows on this image for example.

The effect does seem to depend on the light though, like a metallic livery perhaps?

Like DJS said, it's red metallic. In TV it looks only a bit darker than the normal Marlboro red, but in reality there's a much bigger difference between those colours I guess. I have to admit that I like it (from what I saw on pics and in the TV), but Christian Danner said it looks not that good (and he saw the car in real).

But I guess it's only a Monaco special anyway, or am I wrong?

I also think so. In the sun i looks kind of strange. Maybe because we're not used to metallic paint on F1 cars....
